How the Bazichy Leaderboard Works

Understand League, Global, and Games rankings, which matches count, and how Win Score, eligibility, and seasonal carryover determine your position.

Bazichy Editorial TeamUpdated September 3, 2026

The short version

Bazichy runs numbered calendar-month seasons in UTC. Eligible players are ranked by Win Score, a confidence-adjusted measure of match performance. Under the standard season rules, you need at least 10 counted matches in the current season to become eligible in a leaderboard scope. Wins add a full win, draws add half a win, and losses add match evidence without adding a win.

The adjustment matters because a perfect record after only a few matches is less reliable than strong performance across a larger sample. Every score includes the same neutral 50% baseline. Eligible evidence carried from the previous season can also influence your starting score.

The figures below describe the standard rules used by the current season. Eligibility, carryover, opponent limits, tier thresholds, and the review period can be configured for a season; that season's rules take precedence if they differ.

What do the leaderboard views show?

ViewTime periodWho you compete against
LeagueThe selected monthly seasonPlayers in your global tier for that season, such as Platinum
GlobalThe selected monthly seasonEvery eligible active Bazichy player across supported games
GamesThe selected monthly seasonEligible players in the supported game you choose from the Games menu

League is a filtered view of Global standings, with its own position numbers inside that league. It does not calculate a separate League Win Score. The Games view calculates results and eligibility for the selected game only.

In League view, League Rank is your position among players in that league, while Global Rank is your position across the global leaderboard. For example, League Rank #2 and Global Rank #18 can both be correct.

Your row is marked with You and a highlight icon. If you are on another page of the table, a separate row below the current page shows your position. When your row is on the current page, only that highlighted row appears; it is not repeated at the bottom.

What do the table columns mean?

ColumnMeaning
Rank / League RankYour position in the selected leaderboard or within your league
PlayerThe player's profile and identity; your own row is marked You
Global RankYour overall seasonal position, shown as an extra column in League view
Win rateCurrent-season counted wins divided by counted matches in that scope; draws are not wins in this percentage
Win streakConsecutive counted wins in the selected season and scope, ordered by match completion; a counted loss or draw ends the streak
MatchesCurrent-season counted matches in that scope, excluding carried matches
Top GameThe game with the most counted matches in the selected season and scope

In a Games leaderboard, Top Game is the selected game. Ties for Top Game are resolved by more wins in that game, then a stable game identifier. It does not determine leaderboard rank.

How is Win Score calculated?

The ranking calculation is:

Win Score = (wins + 0.5 × draws + carried wins + 5) ÷ (current matches + carried matches + 10)

The added 5 wins across 10 matches form the shared 50% starting baseline. Here, current matches means counted wins, losses, and draws in the selected scope. Carried wins is the win-equivalent evidence from the previous season, with a draw worth half a win.

For example, with no carryover, a player with 7 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses has a displayed raw win rate of 70%. Their ranking Win Score is (7 + 0.5 + 5) ÷ (10 + 10) = 62.5%. As more matches are counted, the neutral baseline has less influence.

The table displays raw win rate for quick reading. Rank order uses the confidence-adjusted Win Score.

When does a player become eligible?

A player needs 10 current-season counted matches in the relevant scope. Global eligibility uses current-season matches across supported games, while a Games leaderboard requires 10 current-season matches in that selected game.

League view uses your Global eligibility. Every player starts in Bronze, but players below the qualification requirement have no numerical rank until they qualify. Carryover does not make a player eligible, and reaching 10 matches does not guarantee a particular rank within the tier.

Which matches count?

A match counts only when it is a completed and settled paid match between two different players, with a positive USD entry, within the season's time window. All new paid matches are ranked; eligible historical casual results continue to count. Each qualifying result contributes to both Global standings and that game's standings. Paying a larger entry does not give the result extra ranking weight.

CHY play, practice, free entries, incomplete or unsettled matches, and voided or excluded results do not count. A result can appear in match history without being eligible for the leaderboard.

To limit repeated-opponent manipulation, the standard limit is three counted matches against the same opponent per UTC week, within a season. The week begins on Monday at 00:00 UTC. This limit is shared across games: switching games does not create a new allowance for the same pair. Later matches between that pair can still be played, but do not add leaderboard results once the limit is reached.

Every qualifying result is processed once. During the season or its review window, an approved correction can remove the result through an audited reversal.

What carries over from the previous season?

From Season 2 onward, an eligible previous season can contribute 20% of its counted matches, rounded down and capped at five virtual matches. Their win-equivalent value uses the previous season's raw wins and draws. For example, 12 previous counted matches contribute two virtual matches; 25 or more contribute five.

Carryover stays within the same scope: Global evidence carries to Global, and a game's evidence carries only to that same game. An ineligible previous season contributes nothing. Approved corrections to a prior season also update the following season’s carryover and tie-break evidence. Carried evidence influences Win Score and tier, but does not add to current-season Matches, raw Win rate, or the 10-match eligibility requirement.

How are ties resolved?

If two eligible players have the same Win Score, Bazichy compares these tie-breakers in order:

  1. More wins.
  2. More counted matches.
  3. Stronger previous-season Win Score.
  4. A stable player identifier, so the ordering remains deterministic.

Win streak appears in the table as useful context, but it is not used to calculate rank.

How do seasonal tiers work?

Eligible players receive a tier from their Win Score, not their displayed raw win rate. The standard thresholds are:

TierWin Score
BronzeBelow 50%
Silver50% to below 55%
Gold55% to below 60%
Platinum60% to below 70%
Diamond70% to below 75%
Crimson75% or higher

Players below the current-season eligibility requirement remain in Bronze without a numerical rank. Your League view follows your Global tier; an individual game's tier can differ because it uses only that game's results.

What happens at the end of a season?

Season windows follow calendar months in UTC. Each new season has fresh counted wins, losses, draws, and eligibility, with only the limited carryover described above.

The prior season freezes for review. The standard review period is 24 hours after the season ends. Corrections requested within the review window may be resolved afterward, but publication waits until all pending reviews are decided. Suspended, deleted, and QA fixture accounts are excluded before final awards. After review and approval by a different operator, final standings and seasonal achievements are archived. Use the season selector to view previous standings. Publication is a separate step from the new season's start; it is not a promise that the final archive will appear exactly at midnight.

Why can rank change after a match?

Rank is relative. Your result changes your Win Score, but other eligible players are also completing matches. A win can improve your score without guaranteeing that you pass someone immediately, and another player's later result can change the order again.

Standings use recorded results and approved corrections. The dashboard subscribes to leaderboard updates, so rank, counted matches, and raw win rate refresh when those records change. Win streak and Top Game do not determine the order.

How can I improve my position?

Focus on sustained performance rather than volume alone. Complete enough qualifying matches to become eligible, play a varied set of opponents, and review losses so your long-run result improves. Because Win Score accounts for confidence, consistently strong play across more matches is the clearest path upward.

Frequently asked questions

Does win streak increase my leaderboard rank?

No. Win streak is shown as context, but ranking uses Win Score followed by wins, counted matches, and deterministic tie-breakers.

Why is my displayed win rate different from my ranking score?

The table shows raw wins divided by counted matches. Rank uses a confidence-adjusted Win Score with a neutral 50% starting baseline, so small samples do not dominate the standings.

When does the leaderboard reset?

Numbered seasons follow calendar months in UTC. Current-season results and eligibility reset, with limited carryover from an eligible prior season. The previous season enters a review period, normally 24 hours, before final publication.

Do practice or free matches count?

No. Counted results require a completed and settled paid match between two different players with a positive USD entry. All new paid matches are ranked. CHY, practice, free, unsettled, voided, and excluded results do not count.

Why are my League Rank and Global Rank different?

League Rank is your position within your global tier. Global Rank is your position across the global leaderboard. League view filters Global standings rather than calculating a separate score.

Why does my row sometimes appear at the bottom?

The extra You row shows your position when you are on another page. If you appear on the current page, your highlighted row is shown there once and is not repeated below.

Does switching games reset the repeated-opponent limit?

No. The standard limit of three counted matches per opponent per UTC week applies across games within the same season. The week starts on Monday at 00:00 UTC.

Do carried matches count toward eligibility?

No. Eligible prior-season results can contribute limited evidence to Win Score, but you still need 10 new counted matches in the relevant scope under the standard rules.
